4-6 Tonne Excavator Fixed 2-Way General & Forestry Grapple

The JB Equipment JT02 Hydraulic Fixed 2-Way General & Forestry Grapple is a heavy-duty hydraulic grab designed for timber handling, scrap metal sorting, and other applications. The JT02 is excellent for excavators weighing 5.5 to 8.5 tons, such as the JCB 3CX or Hitachi ZX50.

The grab has been specifically developed to operate efficiently in the harshest conditions. The lengthy ‘finger’ tine design makes huge non-uniform forms easy to handle. Vertically positioned cylinders provide higher closing power, resulting in increased grip.

The grab comes equipped with a cross link headstock for easy hitches, allowing it to be utilized in either orientation. Please keep in mind that for some machines in this weight range, a crosslink may not be available due to dimension limitations; in such cases, a normal headstock will be supplied.

The video below shows the significantly larger 6-10 Tonne General & Forestry Grab – with hydraulic rotation – mounted on a Kubota KX080-4. The fixed model listed on this page is the same design grapple, but without hydraulic rotation. It includes optional heavy-duty rock fangs riveted to the inside face of each leg.
