2-3 Tonne Bear Claw Excavator Forestry Grab – BC120

The Bear Claw forestry grabs are specifically designed for the UK and Irish markets, with heavy-strength HB450 reinforced legs, internal guide bars, high-pressure cylinders, line-drilled pivot areas, bushes, and hardened greaseable pins throughout.

These are available in either a non-rotating/fixed design that functions solely on the excavator’s double-acting hydraulic hammer circuit or a full 360-degree rigid rotation unit (dual auxiliary services required on the excavator).

Non-rotating/stationary variants come with a fast hitch cross-link headstock (if pin measurements permit), allowing the grab to be utilized in either mode. If the excavator pin specifications do not allow for adequate space to build a cross-link headstock, a normal one-way hitch will be provided; this can still be turned 90 degrees in less than 2 minutes using only 4 bolts. Rotating variants are equipped with a conventional 2-pin headstock. Please be aware that hydraulic hoses are not provided as standard with this grab.

The Bear Claw excavator forestry grab series is suited for scrub, brash, general clearing, and other forestry-specific applications.

Please be aware that this attachment does not come with hoses as normal. Although we normally recommend having these built once the machine is installed to ensure a proper length, you can order them by visiting our Hydraulic Hoses & Couplers page. When ordering hoses to accompany an attachment, our team will ensure that all hoses are the correct size and have all necessary fittings to fit the attachment (and couplers if needed). You will need to decide the hose length and coupler size that you need.
